There is a Yoga center on Green Street in Woodbridge between Rahway Ave and (Amboy Ave/StGeorges Ave). They have all forms of yoga - dead man's yoga, temp. controlled yoga, and more. I am almost positive they offer prenatal yoga.

Hi A.,

I think Yoga Vayu, in downtown New Brunswick, still offers a prenatal yoga class on Wednesday afternoons. It might be a little far for you, but it's a very nice class if you don't find anything closer.

Hope that helps, and congratulations on your twins!

HI Amiee,

Welcome to NJ! I highly recommend the holistic moms' group for you. The Middlesex chapter meets once a month at the Metuchen Library. They also have daytime playgroups and other activities.
Here is a link: http://home.homewebs.com/hmnmiddlesexctynj/
They are very warm and loving. They will have a ton of info on prenatal classes in the area.
All the best!

Satsang Yoga in Westfield (about 5 minutes from Clark) does a great class at 11:15 on Saturday mornings.

Hi A.,
Some of the best east coast resources are thru our larger hospitals. You have Raritan Bay Medical Center - Perth Amboy, St.Peter's Univ Hopsital - New Brunswick (delivers the most babies in NJ each year), Robert Wood Johnson Univ Hosp - New Brunswick, Muhelenberg (SP?) Hospital - Plainfield, and JFK Hospital in Edison. Also on Easton Av in Somerset is Yogasana - with a very convienient and flexible schedule - you buy a card and come in for class as you wish. I think the teachers there are very good.
Congratulations!
Peace,
Florence
PS. If interested, postpartum, look up the local Mothers of Multiples Group.

Hi A.. Depending upon where you live there are 2 support groups for at-home moms. There is a MOMS Club of Edison and a MOMS Club of Woodbridge. The MOMS Club is a nonprofit support group for mom offering activities for moms and their children. For more information you can visit www.momsclub.org
