My daughter was blessed to attend preschool in NY before we moved. SHe's bored out of her mind now that we are here and she's not going to school. I need to find a good part day program for her (fall registration) that does not cost an arm and leg. I'd appreciate any recommendations that you may have. Would prefer a Christian setting if possible.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you so much for your responses! Some of the moms at school told me to check into the GA PRe-K program, and I think I've found a couple of centers that I like. Of course there is a wait list right now, but that's the general trend at this time of year for this age...... Thanks again for your suggestions. If the GaPreK doesn't pan out, I'll definately look into these programs.

We have been using Wildwood Baptist Preschool for 4 years now (we have 2 kids). We've been extremely pleased. It is well-run and organized, the teachers are caring, the curriculum is age-appropriate and fun for the children, and the tuition fees are very reasonable. My girls have both loved it! They are located on Wade Green Road in Acworth and the phone number is ###-###-#### if you'd like any additional info. Good luck to you in your search!

Hi S.,
Second vote for Firts Baptist of Woodstock, although is on hwy 92. The program is INCREDIBLE! the infraestructure is awesome with wonderful classrooms and playgrounds and the teachers and staff are very sweet and helpful. They also do a Vacation Bible School during the Summer, and is always so much fun. Its free and I truly beleive your older ones (they start at Kindergarden age) would love it! They do this incredible production, with barnyarns animals one day, those moonwalks another etc. I don't know how far in Acworth you are, but I'll say you should check it out. Also, their preschool prices are the most reasonable around the area.
This preschool gave my son's a great Christian foundation at an early age.
Best of luck and I am here if I can be of any help!

I know there is a good one at First Baptist Woodstock on Highway 72. My hairdressers boys have both gone there and love it. Where did you live in NY? We were from the Buffalo area. Where do you go to church now that you are new in the area?

We LOVED St. Michael's in Woodstock. I don't know if Acworth would be too far to drive -- I'm sure there are other good ones closer -- but if you're intersted, the number is ###-###-####.

not sure where in acworth you are, but if interested, check out Marietta First Baptist (on the square) CEE. We have a great reputation.
