Hi - My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 1 year now. We've been through one cycle of IUI, and are interested in finding a practitioner who integrates traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture, herbs, etc.) with western fertility treatments. Thanks!

We went to Dr. Brian Acacio. He was in Glendale, but has since moved his practice to Laguna Niguel. I did make the drive there for my last cycle of IVF. Through him, I worked with the Eastern Center for Complimentary Medicine. Their website is www.herbalroom.com - I was treated with acupuncture and some herbal remedies. They even have practitioners that go to the clinic to do acupuncture sessions before and after the embryo transfer. I highly recommend Wendy Yu. She is fabulous, and very involved with fertility patients. Good luck to you!

Hi L.,

When i was going through my fertility treatments my accupuncturist
was Dr Catherine Aquino. She is located somewhere near Toluca Lake/Universal City. She's near the forest lawn Hollywood hils area. She is awesome! Her treatments would compliment my RE's treatments. They know each other well. I love love love DrAquino.
She has many many patients under going western fertilty treatments.
She would do a treatment right before and right after my procedures.

I am a mommy of 1yr old twins now.

Hope this helps.

L.

I was under the care of Abigail when I got pregnant (after trying for 17 months and having a miscarriage). She used to work out of a regular OB office, and is very familiar with both eastern and western medicine. VERY worth a consultation! She's right off the 134 at Central.

Try Dr. Barker at Paracelsus in Pasadena. He is a naturopath and his partner is an osteopath.

I am also a patient of acupuncturist Abigail Morgan, whom I adore!
