The way I met lots of moms in the area is I joined the Carrollton Early Childhood PTA. We have playgroups (by ages) that meet each week as well as lots of fun activities. www.cecpta.org

I also went to Mother Goose library time at the Hebron library in Carrollton. Lots of fun and a great way to meet new friends.

When I lived in Carrollton I joined the Carrollton Early Childhood PTA. It has playgroups for different age groups and meetings once a month where there was a different speaker on subjects such as child rearing to scrapbooking. It was a great way to meet other moms.

There is also the Mom's club in Carrollton and MOPS which is a christian organization that is similar to the Early Childhood PTA.

You can probably find these organizations online.

K.,

I'm part of the CECPTA (Carrollton Early Childhood PTA) go to www.cecpta.org. We have a variety of playgroups, even one that would fit your child age. I have been a member since my daughter was a baby, and now is 6. I am the playgroup coordinator for my sons playgroup now (he is 2) and most of the babies have been in it since they were 6 months old. Go to the web site , and check it out. You can call me if you have any questions.

We have a great group. Most kids are a little older than yours, but we have a couple around that age.
