My family will be moving to Cypress, Texas in late May, early June of 2008. I would love to find and join a playgroup for toddlers. My son is bored of hanging out with his mommy! :) If there isn't one, I would like to create one.

My name is Y. G. I am 26 years old and have a two month old baby girl. I am a stay at home mother. I am new to Houston, I have been here for 5 months and dont know anyone in town. I am interested in joining or starting a playgroup as well. I have had a couple of moms tell me about some groups. I will love to have my baby with children her age and I see you have a two month baby as well. I live in Cypress, Tx so maybe we can get together and have our children get to know each other. Try the web site Momsclub.org and they will tell you if there is a play group in your area.
What about Mother's Day Out at a local church. The Methodist churches generally have great programs.
I currently live in the cypress area. Cypress Creek lakes to be exact. I moved here in Jan. and I have been unable to find one here. The moms club organization said there is no chapter in this area but would create one if someone wanted to get it started. I would love one, but I have been so busy I have not been able to get anything going. I have 3 kids, a 7 month old, a 2 year old and a 6 year old. If you want to get together for playgroups etc. I would be really interested to help out. I also have a neighbor who would like one as well. She has a 1 1/2 year old and is expecting her second baby.

I do have a play group we sometimes attend....but its on the SW side of town(59/99) and sometimes its too much(gas,traffic,driving so far).....I would love to join your play group........please keep me informed on the details...............................
