Hi - I am brand new to Knoxville, in fact, to Tennessee, and have just moved into a house near the Middlebrook Pike/Cedar Bluff intersection. I am looking for a pediatrician or pediatric nurse practitioner. My older daughter is due for her three year check up! I am looking for someone who is not going to be too quick to prescribe antibiotics and would be supportive of delayed vaccinations. More importantly, I really want someone who is going to be very patient oriented and not super busy to the point we will feel like they are rushing thru our check up! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mama's!!

I use Knoxville Pediatric Associates. All of the doctors are nice and you can even get in on Saturday and Sunday if you have something that can't wait. There number is ###-###-####. Welcome to Knoxville. I moved here from Michigan 7 years ago.

I love Dr. Lisa Padgett. She is with Knoxville Pediatric Associates. They have an office on Weisgarber, which is close to you. I am not really sure how she stands on the delayed vaccinations, but she is very patient-oriented and takes time to discuss any concerns or questions you have. Because of this, sometimes the visits take a while, but I think it's worth it to have a doctor who cares!
