I have found a wonderful dentist that has an office in lee's summit and also at the Blue Ridge Tower by the New Walmart on 40 and Blue Ridge his name is Dr. Anderson. Unfortunately, my son fell through a window and landed onthe driveway face first. Dr anderson say us first thing monday morning and was wondersul. My 5 year old needed four crowns and 3 fillings to her teeth as well as her tonsils and adnoids out at the same time. Dr Anderson worked with the ENT and they both did their work at the same hospital and day as to not tramitize her twice. I cannot say enough about him. I also tried Dr. Logan Childers even though he is a childrens dentist, for me he just didnt cut it with having patients with the kids nd prefered the parents to stay out front as to Dr Anderson was glad to have the parents go through the entire process with both my 2 and 6 year olds.

My brother is a third year dental student at UMKC Dental School in KC (next to Children's Mercy hospital). They are always looking for pediatric patients to get through their rotations. I've already taken my son to be seen by one of my brother's fellow students, and am taking my daughter for a check up by my brother next month.

Hi A.,

I have taken my daughter to Universtity of Missouri Dental College. They are great with children and they take insurance and they are not as high as a regular dentist. My daughter is 8 and she had an underbite and we had to have braces, the cost $350.00 her teeth our now beautiful they call you to schedule your childs check up regular. And there is really no wait with an appt. The number is ###-###-####. Call for a cleaning. It may take a month or two to get in but the cost. you can't pass up. Good Luck

We saw Dr. Anderson in the Blue Ridge towers, I was not impressed with him at all, he said that my son was a whiner and told me that to my face. He was doing a filling and kept saying that there wasn't any way the he felt pain, I kept explaining that we have a family history of having a hard time getting numb when we go to the dentist and he said oh that's not it he's just a whiner. Then 1 1/2 years later we ended up having to have two of the three teeth that were filled pulled by another dentist because they were not filled properly. I would not recommend him. We live in Raytown but take our son to Dr. William Doyle at College and Nall, he is very nice and is great with our son. Worth the drive.
