Seeking Out Private Schools in North/far North Suburbs for Kindergarten

My daughter misses the 9/1 cut-off date with a 9/11 birthdate. I found one Montessori in Lincolnshire who may be willing to accept her for Kindergarten. Does anyone have any suggestions for other schools who may be willing to do the same. My daughter certainly has the skills to attend K in the fall. I'm just hoping to find one for that time, and if possible, find a 1st grade who'd accept the private Kindergarten credit! I currently live in Northbrook and work in Waukegan. Something along that commute would be wonderful. I'm currently going from Northbrook to Arlington Heights to Waukegan every AM (and the reverse in the PM). :-( Thanks.

What can I do next?

Hi C.,
My son goes to Baker which is in Wilmette. We love you the school and I can check on Monday if you would like what the cut off date is for Kindergarten.
Let me know,
R.

C.- I hear the goddard school in third lake has a great Kindergarten program. They have an open house this week. I am going to check it out for Dylan.

Also- Poko Loko on rt 45 in Libertyville. It has an awesome structured day and really focus on the childs individual abilities and work on areas that need extra attention.

Let me know if you hear of anything else.

Hi! Before you had asked about the Montessori in Lincolnshire. I have been there a few times because I have a very good friend who worked there for a number of years, and had her children there for school when they were a bit younger. They are now in 2nd and 3rd grades. She now lives in Woodstock and works at a Montessori school there.
If you would like her feedback on the school, since she has very personal experience with it as a teacher and parent, let me know and I will give her your contact info.
Thanks,
Gretchen

Hi C.,
We live in Glenview(of Landwehr) and our son goes to a gifted private school in Des Plaines which does not worry about age but mental iq. If interested let me know I can give you information. He has a September 8th birthday. He is 9. We have not had an issue with his cut off since pre K when he atteneded a Montessori (we moved here from out of state a year ago). Have you tried Countryside. They are actually pretty close to us so I am guessing must be close to you? There is also one in Deerfield on Wilmot.
