Seeking Other Moms in Herriman Where Non Lds Is Ok

Hi, I live in Herriman and am a SAHM. I have 3 girls ages 10, 6 and 3. I've been busy being a mom and haven't done much to get out and meet people. Not being part of the main religion in the area makes it a bit harder for me cause I'm a bit shy at times. I'd love to meet other moms like me to have a playdate or something.

What can I do next?

Hi A.!
I am sure that since you put out the non LDS you are going to get quite a few reply's, we are out there, we just seem to be hard to find! :)
I live down in Riverton and LOVE to meet new people. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 10 month old son (our kids aren't exactly the same age) but I do have other friends that have kids your age.
Email me, and we could meet for coffee. ____@____.com

Hi A.! I'm not too far away, in the West Jordan/South Jordan area. I have two boys, 7 1/2 and 5 1/2, but I also have a 3 year old girl and would love for her to play with another girl. Having only brothers, she doesn't get enough girlie time. I was also raised LDS, and find it hard to find friends that don't want to convert me. I'd love to get together and meet sometime!

A.,
You should check out the MOMS Club of South Valley. http://www.momsclubofsouthvalleyut.com/ part of www.momsclub.com We're a group of SAHM (mostly transplants to Utah, but a few born and raised here and mostly non-LDS women, but LDS women are welcome, too!) and we get together for activities for the kids AND for the moms. Kids are welcome at all activities except for the monthly Moms Night Out and Couples Night Out. There is no religious affiliation with the group, just a group of moms who need the support of other moms. Some things we do are playgroups for the kids, book club for the moms, meet for coffee, meet at parks, etc. Dues are only $25 for the year, and most of that goes towards our annual service project where we help other mothers and children in the area. Check out the website and click on the "contact us" and the Membership VP will send you more information. We'd love to have you join us for an activity so you can check out the group! It's full of wonderful women and kids and my kids and I have made so many great friends. Not being LDS myself, I completely understand how hard it is to meet new friends when the majority of your neighbors are already friends from church.
I hope you'll check us out!
K.
