Hi mamas: I'm new to the area and have number 3 on the way! I'm looking for a good OB group or midwife group that will help me with another VBAC. I had a c-section with #1 but had a VBAC with #2 and would love another vaginal delivery. Anyone have any recommendations for me? Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Hi mamas: I just had baby #3 with Dr. John Kim last Friday and it was such a wonderful experience!!! He is very flexible and even worked with a midwife that was on the floor to help me with alternative pain relief! :) He really listened to requests and accomodated as much as possible...I totally recommend him!

Are you looking for/open to a homebirth attendant at all? If so, I might be able to help you out w/ some names.

If not, I've heard good things about Laurice. She's a CNM in Allentown. I think her last name is Dunn but I'm not sure.

I had a successful v-bac in Sept. '07, and was also induced. I loved my ob's, Caring For Women on Freemansburg Ave--Dr. Gail Burgey & Dr. Elizabeth Lamb. Burgey delivered my daughter at St. Luke's in Bethlehem. I know many other women who also were very happy with their care using this group, including one other successful v-bac mom. Good luck!

Dr. John Kim is wonderful. He works with you & he is very gental & respectful of your feelings. He works alone with some very nice nurses & he has hospital privledges at both Easton & Saint Lukes. Dr. Kim's office is in Easton.

Hi J.:) Leah here...I go to a great OBGYN in Bethlehem. Christmas City OBGYN is the name of the practice and my doctor is Dr. McGuire. He is fantastic! Soo nice and super professional. He delivered both of my boys and there are many women that I know who also go to this practice. They are with St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Hope all is well with you.

Congrats on your upcoming baby! I too am having a VBAC - hopefully in October if our little one doesn't come early this time. I have a wonderful OB/GYN in Phillipsburg - Dr Neil Blumenthal. He currently has privilages at Easton Hospital and will soon have his privilages at St. Lukes (where we are planning to deliver). You can find him under Hillcrest OB/GYN or I can give you the number. They are really great there - the whole staff - and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Good luck!
