I am 8 weeks pregnant and haven't found an OB/GYN from a referral without a glich. I will be transitioning from an amazing Dr. and staff from San Diego Fertility Center, so i'm getting ultrasounds weekly. They gave me 3 Dr. referrals, but one was a "butcher" to my girlfriend who was more interested in rushing her thru labor with an unneeded episiotomy. He's out. Another, is with a large group of Dr.s, not sure I wanna rotate Dr.s?, not in my medical coverage. So, happy moms and expecting mom's with an OB in San Diego who delivers at Scripps, please refer!
Robert Dunn at Scripps Carmel Valley to be avoided at all costs.
I had my VBAC with the best ob gyn in San Diego, and probably CA - Dr. Robert Biter. He is simply amazing. Being with him makes you want to have another baby, just so he can deliver you. He is the most sensitive, respectful, and award-winning OB in the area. Love him....along with the 50 million other mothers and fathers that love him :))
I just had a baby with Dr. Eniet Duhamel in Encinitas- I had a plnned c-section ( my 3rd). She is the best doctor I have ever had, on time, empathetic and very experienced. She is with Scripps clinic in Encinitas. I highly recommend her. I switched from another OB who was always late and messed up on some of my lab tests.
Hi! I didn't go to scripps but I delivered at Sharp Mary Birch. My OBGYN is Dr Robert A. Barmeyer and he is located at Sharp Rees-Stealy. I highly reccomend him. He is awesome and I had an amazing birth experience at Sharp Mary Birch. He was there for the delivery (an emergency csection) and came everyday that I was in the hospital. I healed perfectly and delivered a 9 pound baby girl who is now a year old and is very healthy. Congrats and good luck!

My OB is Dr. Sandra Petersen. She is awesome! I love her! Her office is 4060 Fourth Ave, Suite 610 (right across from Scripps). She delievered my last two girls...(May '07 & '09). She's the best!!! Her whole staff is! Good luck.

I love Dr. Goff and all her office staff/nurses/assistants.
She takes time to answer all your questions and she did a FABULOUS job delivering my first. She is in La Mesa and delivers at Grossmont Hospital. She is in a small group of 3 doctors.
sorry, just read you are with Scripps--I'll leave my recommendation in case any one else wants it.
I LOVE my OB, Dr. Nicole Nguyen. She has offices in Poway and Del Mar. She has delivered my two boys (05 and 08), all at Scripps La Jolla. I saw her at nearly every visit throughout both my pregnancies which I know is great care...not a bunch of different nurses and dr's....I can't say enough good things about her.
