Agree with Nicole below. I went there and delivered my second child with them 11/08. The group is called Hera Medical Group at the corner of Briggsmore and Coffee. However Dr. Edraki is not there anymore it's now Dr. Tow (female), Dr. Yip (male) and Dr. Cifuentes (male). Don't know if they do VBAC or not but you can call and ask. It would be a good idea to contact both hospitals labor and delivery depts.(Doctors and Memorial), to see if they allow VBACS. Some hospitals do not and then it doesn't matter if the dr. does or doesn't do VBAC if the hospital won't. Dr Susan Ways and her nurse practitioner Janice Hammond are good too, but I'm pretty sure they don't do VBAC. But you could call them and check as well.

I guess this would depend on insurance coverage- I have Kaiser, and I love it!! My Dr was a woman and I used to call her Mimi her name was Dr. Grassmidt and she was nothing but wonderful- I would take up so much time with her, I am talking about private visits, she would communicate via email a lot and my pregnancy was her 1st concern; i have had 2 emergency c-sections but both were going for VBAC; one was due to water breakage unaware, the other was due to bowel movement inside me and had no choice-but like i said it depends on insurance coverage; and it is true if the hospital does not do VBAC, it won't matter what doctor you get- the policy is what goes of that hospital. Good luck and yes, congratulations!!! I'm sure everythign will work out for the best of your newborn..

Hi there. I don't know if your insurance allows you to go to Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock but I know that when I worked there 8 years ago they had the highest VBAC numbers in the country. You may want to check with them and see what doctors do the VBACs (I think it's most of them who practice at EMC) and if your insurance covers them. They may be able to tell you who is willing in Modesto.

Hi M.!

Congratulations on your growing family. How exciting.

On the corner of Coffee Rd & Briggsmore, there is an office across from Memorial Medical Center. That is where I went. The Doctors are Dr Yip., Dr. Tow, and Dr. Edracki. They are all wonderful throughout examinations, and during delivery.

I don't know about VBAC after having a C-section. I just know that the health of you and your baby are obviously the first concern :o)

Congratulations.

I don't know their stance on VBAC, but I love the midwives at Modesto Medical Group (across from Doctor's Hospital). Dr. Clare is my actual OBGYN, and he's wonderful, but I started seeing the midwives partway through my pregnancy and have stayed on their side of the office since! They listened so well and always took the time to really explain things to me. They were also with me much longer during labor than the physician would have been. I highly recommend them!
