I'm looking to switch to an OB/GYN in the King of Prussia area. I am currently a patient at the Reading Birth and Women's Center but unfortunately, it's a little far of a drive now that we are in KOP. We're hoping to get pregnant after our wedding in October so I'm trying to keep that part of it in mind when looking for a doctor. If anyone can suggest a great OB/GYN for a first time mommy to be, please let me know.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I had my first appointment yesterday with Dr. Joseph Murphy at Abington Primary Women's Health Care Group and let me just tell you, I have a wonderful experience. Dr. Murphy was great. He listened to all my questions and answered everything very thoroughly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Hi. I highly recommend Main Line OBGYN. They have 3 offices, one in Collegeville, one in Wayne and then one in Paoli. I go to the one in Collegeville and they are great! I used to live in Audubon and it was less than a 15 min drive. They are over by Wyeth off of Rt 29.

Welcome to the area!

I have 2 kids - delivered one at Montgomery in 2002..and I switched to Phoenixville for my second (2005). Loved Phoenixville (Valley Forge OB/Gyn). I know Paoli and Bryn Mawr are excellent too. Bryn Mawr has a top notch NICU - we know from experience - our first child needed to go there - Phoenixville's is good too.
Hope this helps!

I recently delivered at Paoli Hospital and went to Russino & Chastney. I had a good experience with them. They are a group of about 6 OB-Gyns that work out of the Main Line Health system.

I have had three kids with Women's Healthgroup in KOP on Shoemaker Road. They are great and work at Bryn Mawr Hospital. We also spent some time in the NICU there, and I worked there, so I know it's great care. Good luck!
