Seeking OB for Overweight Mama

I'm looking for an OB in my area--I live in Orem, Utah, so anywhere in Utah County would be best. With my first, I went to a clinic, and I didn't feel like they addressed my concerns at being quite overweight when I got pregnant. Plus, I always saw a different doctor at each check-up, which made it difficult when I had BP issues and eventually pre-eclampsia, as I'd always get a different opinion at each appointment. I'd like to see just one doctor at each check-up, and if I can find one that has experience with overweight pregnant women, that would be great. I don't think I'm pregnant right now, but I may be (I'm 6 weeks overdue but had a negative home pregnancy test last week), so I'd like to be prepared. Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone. I still don't know if I'm pregnant--I plan to take a test this weekend--but if I am, I'll try some of the doctors you all suggested. And if I'm not, I'm going to do all I can to lose weight so I'm not at such a high risk when I do get pregnant again! Thanks!

I like Dr. George Gourley. I've gone through two pregnancy's with him- I even drove down from magna for this last pregnancy. He's a family friend- really down to earth and straight forward. His staff is great in the office and they also have a nurse practitioner that you can see if he is busy delivering a baby or you can opt to wait for him or reschedule. They are really nice- even if you can't make it in they'll call in a Rx for you if you need it. His office is in the physicians plaza right behind the utah valley regional medical center in provo. His office number is: ###-###-####
good luck! :)

My OBGYN is Dr Broadbent in Provo... he's in the newish medical building near Bulldog Blvd on University Ave. I've really liked him alot (2nd pregnancy with him). He deals with lots of high risk pregnancies. He is in private practice, and while he does have a group of doctors that he rotates on-call time with (for when he's on vacation an such) he will be the doctor you see every time.

I went to see Dr. Ryan Jones and I know quite a few other women who have gone to him. We all think he is a great guy. He is located just North of the American Fork hospital.
