You could check out The Little Gym in VA Beach or Chesapeake. They have dance classes (ballet & tap)with Gymnastics... 30 mins of dance and 30 mins of Gymnastics. It is a great class! Dance classes are for children up through 12 years old. You can try a class for free to see how the girls like it. Check out the website www.TheLittleGym.com or you could call. VA Beach is ###-###-#### or Chesapeake is ###-###-####.

Good Luck!

Children's Dance Center on Seaboard Rd. in VA Bch is great. You will get a small discount on the monthly amount since both girls would be registered. I know there is a one time registration fee (per family not per child). The classes run Sept to May and the recital is in May. You can also try out the summer camp sessions but call now to find out when she lets out the schedule because she fills up fast. There are one way windows for you to watch but not distract the kids. I think the instructors are great. My daughter loves it there. Price is pretty average and it should be listed on the website- I think it's Childrensdancecenter.com. Good Luck.

my daughter goes to golden slippers they have 4 locations, and I know they offer a discount if you take more than 1 class or have more than 1 child.

Hello, my daughter attends Academie de Ballet in Chesapeake. It is christian-based and is excellent! Their senior recitals are impressive and their advanced students are good enough for New York! The little ones 3-4 years old start off with one class a week. They offer discounts for any subsequent classes (the more classes taken, the less expensive they are) and they also offer a family discount if more than one child is taking classes. Check them out at www.academiedeballet.com

I cannot recommend a dance studio but I can tell you one to stay away from. Spot Lights Dance in Virginia Beach, my daughter is currently going to this studio. Its ok but the teacher's daughter is in the same class as my daughter. The little girl is always running in and out of the studio and disrupting the class and it drives me crazy. Her mother is always telling her that she needs to stop, therefor taking time from my daughter and the other kids that want to learn. It's rude and I feel like I wasted my money. My daughter is 3 so 3 year old get distracted very easy. The only reason I'm staying is because my daughter likes it so much. This will be our only lesson at this studio.
