Seeking Mommy Group in Rancho Cordova, CA

I have a really great mommy group that meets every Friday - not in Rancho, but not too far from you. :) We meet at Busy Bees Studio - 2336 Fair Oaks Blvd (between Fulton and Howe behind the McDonalds). The group is great, the moms fabulous...and they come from all areas of Sacramento, Cameron Park, Roseville - you get the idea... :)

This Friday we meet at 11:30 but starting nest Friday 4-18-08 we will be meeting from 1:00 - 2:30.

Go to www.meetup.com and search for moms groups in your area. I found a great group in Elk Grove that way!

There is a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group that meets on Tuesday at 9 at the Cordova Church of Christ off Coloma. There is daycare while you meet with other mothers to participate in activities. I do not attend...but I know that lil' babies are able to stay with their mothers up to 4 or 5mos.

I'm a member of a great mother's group that is in Folsom and the surrounding area. It is Sierra Moms, and you can check out their website at sierramoms.org.

I've been a member for about 3 years now, and have met some fantastic local moms. There are SEVERAL activities each week for moms with their kids, plus there are Moms Night Out to do fun things without the kids, and Parents Time Out, to do some fun things with your husband. Plus there is a babysitting CoOp to trade babysitting time, and save money on hiring babysitters. Their Spring Party is coming up this weekend... it would be a great time to check them out.

Anyway, I couldn't recommend it enough. Both my children and I have made lifelong friends.
