Seeking Mommy and Me

Its great to find a mom also in Rochester, NY. I have 2 11yr olds and a 9 month old. I have also been wanting a moms club. THe ones I know of is MOPS, Moms Club of Rochester, and there is Kinder Music which I have heard a lot of great things about. THey will let you do one class free to check it out. I would get the magazine for Rochester area parents,you can get it at Wegmans on your way out the door by the apartment/car/wedding catalogs and newspapers. It has events in there along with other mom opportunities and a lot of great stuff. Feel free to email me and we can chat. ____@____.com

Hi J., Congratulations on your new little family member! I have a 5 yr old and a year old (both girls) and the best thing I ever did was join the Moms Club. If you are a stay at home mom (or work from home part time) you can join. I live in Spencerport/Parma so I joined the Hilton Club. You can be as involved or uninvolved as you like. We meet once a month for a business meeting to discuss what is happening and the kids play, do a craft and have a snack. We usually meet once a month for a Breakfast Club that we take turns hosting (just coffee and friends while the kids play). We have a walking club and a book club. There is a moms night out once a month and we do a lot of charity work. We arrange small playdates and activities out. It is wonderful! I don't know what I would have done it w/o other mommy support! We also chip in and make meals for moms going through a rough time or who have just had a baby. It can be whatever you want it to be. Very low key and relaxed. You can bring your child to every meeting/event and we all help each other look after the little ones. If you are interested please e mail me. There are chapters in almost every town in Rochester.
