Seeking Mom's Group in Reno, Nevada

I don't know if you've heard of MOPS? (Mothers of Preschoolers) There are several groups in Reno, but most are full up. There was a new group recently started that still has openings. If you go to www.mops.org it will tell you more about the organization, specifically read about the groups. I don't know what area of Reno you live in but this MOPS meets just off of Double Diamond and Double R Blvd, in South Reno. It meets at Discovery Fellowship, you can call them at ###-###-#### for more info. They meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the Month, in the morning from Sept-May. You can also put in your zip code on the Web site and it will give you other MOPS groups your area, and you can see if they have openings. It's a good way to connect with other Mom's and gives us Mom's a bit of a break for a couple of hours!

This summer I ran into a mother who was going to a moms group and highly recommended this one. They meet twice a month and have little or no dues depending on your situation. They even have a childcare with in the next room and all of us mothers get to share in our input and knowledge with our experiences as mothers. I am going to be new to this but am looking for ward to it. The number is ###-###-####.
