For about a week now I have been having some nausea and I was wondering if it actually possible to have pregnancy symptoms only 4 weeks in? I am almost 98% sure I am pregnant. I have now tried a pregnancy test and got inconclusive results. I have not missed my period yet, but my period has also not been on time for almost 3 months now. I was on nuvaring so it made it three days late all the time. Well, I ended that while I was on vacation and then came home to my husband during my fertile time. We have been talking about having another baby so we are hoping we are pregnant. I am also thinking this just might be a cold so any input would be good. Thanks. Also read my update. Thanks.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Ok, I was not able to get around to buying another test yet, but better yet I am gonna make a doctors appointment and see how that goes. I will buy a test while I am out today anyways, but now it is getting to the point that I think I just need a doctor cause all of this vomiting can't be good for me. Thanks for everyone e-mailing and I will let you know what happends when I know more.

Ok, here is the latest. I went into the doctor and of course the urine test said no cause it is to early. So they took a blood test so unfortunetly I won't know the details until noon tomorrow. The doctor said a stomach flu has been going around, but I read the details for a stomach flu and I only have two symptoms plus a stomach flu only lasts three days. So I am positive I am pregnant at this time cause I don't have anything else to go on. So hopefully by tomorrow it will say I am pregnant. If it says I am not pregnant I will probably be devasted. So I will thank all of you for your help in advance.

Update: not pregnant! the period started yesterday. No worries I will be mapping my fertility for the next 4 months and if we still don't get pregnant I will be going to the doctor for other possibilities.

Everyone is different. But I had symptoms immediately-not nausea but other things like lower abdominal cramping, headaches, etc. and I just felt so different, all before I had missed a period.

Sure, you can have symptoms right away - my breasts were tender and I was slightly nauseated right away with both my pregnancies. Why not do an over-the-counter pregnancy test and put your mind to rest?

I have found out I was pregnant that early each time except the first. So, very possible and you can test now. My best friend knew within three weeks, her testing was done with blood at the clinic. Just make sure you're not doing anything that could hurt a baby in utero and grab a test or two. I wish you the best!!

I had hunger growls and pains at 12 days past ovulation so about 3-4 weeks is okay to be in tune with pregnancy symptoms. I guess you should test to confirm what you think. Let us know.

Confusing...I know what you're dealing with. I had a similar experience long ago, and when I end up not being PG, I was able to start charting these dizzy spells and was eventually diagnosed with Virtigo. I've noticed over the last year now, that I have a little bit of a virtigo spell when I'm about to get my period. This is hard because we've been trying for another baby, so I often misinturpeted my body's dizziness for being pregnant, and I end up being disapointed. I've talked about this with my Dr. in the past and he told me that women don't typically feel pregnancy symptoms until they're usually 6-8 weeks along. You could be different...you never know. Until you take a PG test, you'll have to wait and see. Good luck and if you aren't PG, I hope it's nothing serious.

Ooh yeah, I start getting sick and super hungry like the day after I get pregnant. I knew it right away every time. That's a bummer about the test you bought. I had a cheap little test give me a false positive once and was SO upset about it. After that I only get the EPT 2 pack so I can confirm. I have actually had a positive EPT test and then tested neg at the Dr. because their pee tests aren't as sensitive. They made me come back a few days later the first time so the second and third time I brought the EPT with me to show them and they did a blood test to get the positive when they pee test was neg.
Best Wishes and happy pregnancy vibes for you,
J.

Hi! I experienced neausea and irritability before my missed period with both of my pregnancies. I have a daughter who will be one on Friday and a son who is almost three weeks old. I took a test with my first one the day I was supposed to have my period because of how sick I felt and I was brestfeeding my daughter and didn't think I was going to get pregnant when suddenly I felt pregnant again (sick and crabby). I had only one period before that and also took the test when I was "supposed to" have my period. So you could very well be pregnant... good luck and happy birthday to your daughter too!

My husband and I were just awarded for 6 months worth of trying with our positive pregnancy test.

I kind of knew too, my breasts were very full and perhaps just a bit sensitive. I tested 6 days before my missed period, NEGATIVE, one day before, inconclusive, then the day after...two VERY bright lines!

Why not just take a test, no two bodies react the same...rmember even if the test says negative, it is early, so test test again!!!

Let us know what happens!!!

About 3 days before I was suppose to get my period, I was at work and I felt nauseous and dizzy. I had never been pregnant before so I didn't know why I was feeling that way. About 5 days later, I finally took a test and I was pregnant. Good Luck!
