My daughter will be 10 on May 1st and she was thinking of inviting a few girls for something special on May 2nd from 7-9PM. Any ideas what can be done either at or away from the house? She wants a Hannah Montanna theme, no matter where the party is held. ALL ideas will be appreciated, even if they cannot be accomplished on a Friday night and for 2 hours. We can always adjust. Thank you in advance!

So What Happened?

I am thanking all three of you for the GREAT ideas! My daughter could not even decide which one she likes best so far, as they all sound good! We are going to look at them all again tomorrow and go from there. Thanks again!

Hi L.!
I have a business/store called Stuffing Station- it's a make-your-own-stuffed-animal store and party entertainment. I can come to your home or you can have it in my store in Woonsocket, RI. Lots of fun! I plan games around any theme, and right now Hannah Montana is one of the most popular! I also do spa parties if that's more up her alley... (I'm also adding make-your-own lotions and body scrubs soon). Check out my website www.stuffingstation.com and see if it's something you might be interested in.
If not, how about a bowling party, or maybe by then the miniature golf places will be open?
Good luck planning! Parties are so much fun!

You could also do a Hanna Montana Pajama Party (I work for a local radio station that did an event like this). Invite the girls to wear their PJ's - play lots of Hannah Music - Kareoke is even better. Watch lots of episodes of Hannah Montana (TIVO them ahead of time) -

pick up some inexpensive journals somewhere and some craft products (glue, stickers, papers, etc) and let the girls decorate their own diary/journal and give each girl a HM pen/pencil.

Also, if you do the PJ party - I saw an amazingly cute tablescape on a website I love to read - use a HM bed sheet as the table cloth (a little more expensive than paper - but your daughter can use on her bed later.) - take a pillow with the HM pillowcase and place at the head of the table - then all the girls can dine at the bed.

not sure if I gave that description justice - so if you want to see pictures check out hwtm.com - it is on her main page I think not her blog - I saw it a week ago and can't wait to use it for something.

good luck - have fun! I love kids parties.

See if the 3-D concert will be available on DVD by then and have a rockin' sing a long party. Have all the girls dress like Hannah Montana and maybe gets your hands on a karaoke machine that they can sing along to. Try to set up a wall in your home like a stage. Use cardboard and a few 2x4's to make a 'stage front' that your daughter can decorate ahead of time with stars and things. Make the girls all feel like stars! your theme can be The Best of Both Worlds'-but in this case it would be your daughters world and the Hannah world! Good luck with it!
