$60 is a good price. And the first time is always more because of the deep cleaning to get it to maintenance level.
My husband and I are desperately looking to find someone to clean our house on a bi-weekly basis. I'm a little hesitant about letting someone in our home when we are not there so I'd like to find someone with a strong references we can trust. We live in a 2-story, 4-2 1/2 (roughly about 2700 sq ft) but we are more concerned with having someone just clean the downstairs (which is kitchen, dining, living area, master, master bath and half bath). The upstairs to be done less frequently. We got a quote today for the downstairs only at $85 for the first time and $60 every other week. Is this a good price? Does anyone know of a good housekeeper they would strongly suggest? We've never had anyone clean our house but realized that keeping up with our little man and working full time does not allow much time cleaning anymore.

Dee,
That price is great for Cypress! Can you e-mail me separately and tell me who gave you that quote at ____@____.com? I would really appreciate it. I have a housekeeper that I'm not crazy about and once this lady "Kitty" came out to quote me, but we weren't ready to pay anyone then. I lost her info and ure would love to find her again. Good luck!

HI, I know a great lady her name is Mara Fuentes she lives near Cypress and does a great job, I've never had any complaints. She was born here so she speaks English and has great references, her phone# is ###-###-####. She is a very trustworthy and reliable!
Hi Dee, Your quote seems reasonable. My housekeeper is terrific and does a 2 story house for $60 each week. If you are doing alternate weeks then it would be a little higher. She is extremely trustworthy and is comfortable with the chaos that kids bring. Her name is Jazmin Cologna and can be reached at ###-###-####
Best of luck ... feel free to contact me if you would like more information. I think references are key for a housekeeper.
