Seeking Green Drycleaners in Pasadena Area

As a family (four teenagers!), we have made the decision to make choices that are environmentally sound. We recycle, drive a car that runs on recycled vegetable oil, purchase food through a Co-operative or farmer's markets, etc. We do not require much use of drycleaning but do need to send suits, etc. Any suggestions in the Pasadena of green drycleaners would be appreciated.

What can I do next?

Hi
I'm pretty sure they're is one on the corner of California and Fair Oaks. I drive by almost everyday and read the window, if I'm sitting in traffic. Looks clean and friendly from the outside. Sorry I don't have the name of the place.
Good Luck
Gloria

This is a great question...I am looking forward to the responses myself. You seem to be very environmentally conscience...this is wonderful. Just thought I would add to your awareness list just in case you didn't know. if you burn candles in your home...it should be a Natural vegetable wax candle. Beeswax is expensive and doesn't throw a fragrance very well. My whole family make our own SOY wax candles to burn in our home. We have our favorite containers and just keep filling and refilling them when we are done. Totally recyclable and of course its a natural renewable resource rather than a petroleum based product like the traditional PARAFFIN candles that people burn. Green Hour will be celebrated on March 29th by many Americans who are advocates for the Green Movement (Google Green Hour for more info) and millions upon millions of candles will be lit....I am trying to spread the message to go green with candles. We have enough petroleum soot emissions in our atmosphere. Here is the website to the Green company that I have partnered with to spread this message. Please feel free to share it with anyone you know who burns candles and may want to clean up the #1 source of indoor air pollution (Paraffin candles)www.candlewealth.com/soulmates. Good luck with finding a Green Dry Cleaners...Interesting concept :)

Hi!
I've been going to a fairly new one called Eco-Clean on the corner of Colorado and San Gabriel. I've been pretty happy with their work. :)

Hi,

I think that Fashion Cleaners, there is one on corner of Fairoaks/California, and one on Lake Avenue near California uses eco-friendly solutions. They have a website that you can check out. And alot of times great coupons arrive in the flyers.
