Hi all,
I am specifically in search of the baby trend sit n stand plus stroller, but want it used and craigslist hasn't yielded much recently. Does anyone know of a consignment shop or other store that sells goods in very good condition and generally has a good assortment?? Also I am trying to avoid buying online, just an fyi. I'm in south tampa, but will drive for a good deal.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Seems like Once Upon a Child and Baby Boomerang are the places to go: FYI a Once Upon a Child just opened on Kennedy a few blocks away from Baby Boomerang if anyone is looking for one in Tampa. The address is on their webpage. Thanks ladies!

Baby Boomerang on Kennedy is awesome! Their inventory changes pretty frequently, but if they don't have something you want, they'll put you on a call-list and will follow up with you if that item arrives. Good luck!

I would do a google search for "Once Upon A Child" in the Tampa are (not sure if they have one close to you though). We have one in the Countryside/Clearwater area, just off US 19 N and I have been buying great gently used clothes/toys and baby gear for my son who is 2 now. If they don't have what you are looking for they will put your name on a waiting list and will call when they get it in. Good luck!

You might want to try calling "Once Upon a Child" in Largo - they often have good used merchandise for sale. You might even be able to put in a request, I'm not sure. Good luck.

Check google or the yellow pages for a store called "Once Upon A Child". I know there is one in Largo Mall in Pinellas County on the corner of Ulmerton Road and Seminole Blvd, but there may be one in Tampoa too. They sell really, really nice gently used kids stuff. Good Luck!

I have gotten good used gear from Once Upon a Child. They are a children's consignment shop with everything from clothes to cribs and everything you need inbetween. the only one I know of is in Brandon (I am new to Tampa so not sure about others in the metro area) This store is located on Lumsden Road just before Kings. You can call them and check on specific products and they will even put items on hold for you till the end of the day to allow you to come purchase.

I am hoping to find one of those strollers too! Once Upon a Child in Countryside does not have one right now (although my friend said there was one there recently).

You could check out Once Upon a Time. I think there are a couple of locations throughout the bay area. There is one on Lumsden and Kings in Brandon.

Try looking for a consignment store called "Once upon a Child". This store is very picky on the things they take in, they will not allow any spots on clothing, or normal wear and tear. They are a little more expensive than most consignment stores though.
