I have had great luck with Sears portrait studio. The one in Livonia is generally not too busy and they have produced some fabulous pics for us - and the price is very reasonable. I believe the sitting fee is $14.95 (we have had a Smilesaver for the last 2.5 years and never pay a sitting fee) and they have some beautiful black and white collage options. If you don't like the pics don't buy any and you are only out the sitting fee.

It looks like you have already received some wonderful responses. I wanted to give you one more to check out. www.dezinepoint.com has taken pictures of my family many times. Angela is the owner, and she will meet you at any requested location, or she has a great studio as well in Auburn Hills. The bonus is, she is VERY affordable!

If you are looking for something unique, original and creative, I would definitely suggest Dezine Point. She also started a blog which is noted on her website. She has samples of maternity shots as well.

We found an incredible photographer by accident when we first moved to the Rochester Hills area seven years ago. She is located in downtown Rochester Hills and was out at the sidewalk sales. We just had our fourth child last summer, our first boy, and she did beautiful birth announcements for us. We had friends and family calling specifically to compliment us on the announcement. She has a special program called the lullaby club that includes pictures of the baby at three different times during their first year. We just took our sons 9 month pictures last weekend. She did some of him alone and some with his three sisters. She is definitely worth looking into! Her photography is like artwork!

She's so good I'll never pay for Target or Sears again and the last time I used her her fee was $100 for my two boys.
