I am expecting twins in August and have been told I need to find a good Pediatrician before the boys are born. We need a Doctor, preferrably female in the Rahway, Colonia, Clark, Edision and Islen, NJ that takes Cigna health insurance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
We really like Westfield Pediatrics in Westfield, NJ...they have a website...our doc is Dr. John Cavuto...very nice man...we see him for all regular and scheduled appts, but might see any of the other docs for a last minute sick visit.

I use Metuchen Pediatrics - Dr. Farkas is very nice and takes the time to listen and explain things to me when I need her to. Love her and couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

A.: I go to Edison Pediatrics in Edison. I absolutely love my ped there. They have a couple of dr's but the one I always go to is Dr. Nilooban, he is increadibly good with the kids and he takes the time to explain things to you, with words, books, anything he has to make you understand. I never feel like I am being rushed out of the office. He is not quick with the prescription pad which I like as I don't like to medicate my daughter unless I absolutely have to. I actually got the recommendation from another mom through here and I am so happy I went. Good luck! and congratulations on your twins.

I use Dr. Robert Panza on Westfield Avenue in Westfield. He shares an office with a female doctor, Dr. Jane Presti, who also seems very nice. I met her when I needed to take my newborn in a few months back to have a skin condition looked at and Dr. Panza was away. I live in Clark and am a first time mom, 32.
