Seeking Fun Restaurant for Son's First Birthday Party

All,

Asking this wonderful group for some recommendations on where to hold my son's first birthday lunch. It will just be our extended family of about 20, which includes several kids under 7. I'm not necessarily looking for a kid-oriented restaurant - (for example - not Chuck-E-Cheese!). It can be on the N/NW side of Chicago or the N/NW suburbs.

Thanks in advance,

Stephanie

Ed Debevics would be fun. Or a pizza place. Mcdonalds playland is always a hit with kids.

I like the Spaghetti Warehouse in Elk Grove at 83 and Busse Rd. They have 2 private rooms, seating in a train as well as kid friendly food.

Stephanie,
You could try Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Arlington Heights. They have kid friendly food and more than just seafood. It tastes great and it's fun, especially around this time. They have smaller rooms you could have your party in.
You could also try the Olive Garden or Magiannos for a family style dinner.
