Just wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a good Christian pre-school/learning environment for a nearly two year old up north? (we're located about 10 miles from DIA). We don't need a daycare, just a good, reputable facility to attend maybe 1 day per week where our son can learn social skills and the basics of abc's, 1,2 3's, and etc; we're hoping to find something within a 20 mile radius. Thanks for any suggestions!

My 4 year old son attends Beck preschool. It's in Aurora at Buckley and 6th. They have an award winning program and b/c it's through the city is very affordable. I absolutely LOVE the teachers my son has had. They are very patient with him (he has a lot of energy) and he knows his abc's, #'s, colors, shapes, and now his phone #. Try Meadowlark Montessori Preschool. It is not Christian but the preschool teacher there is. The school is about 10 miles east of Brighton on Bromley Lane, just a little bit east of the Great Rock area. The number is (I think) ###-###-####. I think they also have a website.

Kids Discovery Days is a wonderful preschool program at the Arvada United Methodist Church. The church is located at 68th and Carr so I don't know if it fits your distance parameters. I'm not sure if their info is on the church website, but you could check it out. www.arvadaumc.org

There is a very reputable pre-school at the Northglenn United Methodist Church near 104th and Huron. My cousin also sends her little girl to a lady in Reunion two mornings or afternoons a week. Let me know if you need more info.

I am sending my son to the ThornCreek Church pre-school next year in August (when he'll be two). They have a half-day, two days a week program where they learn the basics about Jesus and God, and also their academics. My girlfriend recommended it to me; her daughter is 2 1/2 yrs old and has been attending since Sept. She knows her ABCs, talks in small sentences, can say the Lord's Prayer, and can identify Jesus and the Bible. I believe the tuition is about $160/mo. for 10 months. It is located at 126th and Washington, in Northglenn.
