Does anyone know of any Dance Schools in the North Nj for toddlers that is good. I really would like to put my little girl in some sort of class. I am also looking for gymnastic and swimming classes. But the dance class is my first priority

What can I do next?

There are a lot of dance schools in northern NJ. There's one in Little Ferry - Robin D'Angelo that's run by a classmate of my son's mom.

Where are you in North Jersey? We go to a very nice dance studio but it is in Cedar Grove.

There are so many dance places in South Orange, but I have not taken my son to any yet. I will ask my friend who has.

We've gone to the local YMCA for gymnastics and swimming. They have a new acquatics director in our town of Maplewood that we hope will make a difference. I just was not happy with the teachers that they had for either class. I guess you could go and meet the teachers or find out the word on the street about them first.

I can't speak for thier dance classes, but the Montclair YMCA Family Center is awesome for swim classes! They keep the pool at a wonderful 90 degree temp! The facility is brand new. We also take gym class there, which is alot of fun.

Previously, we took swim classes at the Caldwell Community Center. Compared to Montclair Y, it was horrible, mainly because the pool was so cold that the instructors wore wetsuits.

I've been looking for the same thing as my daughter will be 3 yrs in Feb - so I think she's ready.

They had some dance classes available at her daycare that we paid extra for but I sat in on one and it seemed like a "free for all" as far as getting all the kids to do the same moves.

I'm looking for ballet....let me know if you find out about any great places in the North Jersey area.
