My 15 year old son has been asked to babysit three children, ages 5, 7 and 9 for 4 hrs during the dinner hour - 5pm - 9 pm. He is an experienced sitter, with CPR and babysitter official training under his belt. I would like to know what the current rates are in the W. Plano, Far North Dallas area. Thanks!

At least $10 per hour. That is pretty much the going rate.

My daughter is 14 and she has been paid $10 / hour for 3 kids.

Also, we go out often and have a sitter here because we are out very late. I guarantee $40 for the night which covers her if we cancel for any reason. Usually my bill at the end of the night is $60-$80.

We have a 7 and 9 year old. We pay a baby sitter $10 for the hours the kids are awake and $8 per hour after bedtime until we get home.

I have three boys 3, 7, 9 - we pay 10-12/hr... it depends on how actively involved the sitter has to be. Daytime hours are $12 and sleeping are $10.

We pay 8/hr for a young teen and 10/hr for a young 20's....that is for two young children--ages 2 & 3.
