I'm looking for a good OB/GYN in the Burnsville/Lakeville/Apple Valley area, preferably a female. Finding doctors after moving from out of state is never an easy task so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I also go to OB/GYN specialists. Dr. Cho & Dr. Song were both wonderful, although I saw all of the docs & NPs throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Larson (a man) delivered my son & I see him regularly - he's wonderful. I've never had a poor experience with them!

I would highly recommend Dr. Deb Davenport with Southdale OB/GYN in Burnsville. she is only there Tuesdays I think but definitely worth the wait.
I had a very large tumor removed last year and she recommended having an oncologist present and the oncologist said only 1 in 100 doctors would have made that call and it turns out the tumor was cancerous so her instincts were right. She has a great personality to boot.

I also recommend OB/GYN Specialists. I have seen all the doctors there and have felt comfortable with them all. I especially appreciate and enjoy Dr. Cho and Dr. Song. It takes time to set-up appointments with them as they are in high demand so schedule plenty of time ahead of your appointment needs.
I go to Southdale OBGYN they are great and right next to Fairview Ridges in Burnsville.
I live in Lakeville but go to the Park Nicolett in Bloomington. I also wanted a female dr. and the closest one was in Bloomington....I didn't mind the drive becasue there are several female doctors and they are ALL great (I've seen most all of them). Good luck!
Park Nicollet Clinic in Burnsville is great. I have my ob gyn there although he is male there are females. I like the clinic because everything is in ONE building. My daughter's pediatrician, the eyedoctor, lab work, x-ray dept., mental health, family doctors,urgent care. You name it and it's in the building and if you need a specialist which is rare they send you to their other location in St.Louis Park which is 10x bigger with more things. I started using Park Nicollet Clinics when I became pregnant and love it. I never wait long in the waiting room either. I've never had a bad experiance.
The are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital.
OBGYN Specialist are wonderful. I had a terrible experiance with Park Nicollet Clinics during my first pregnancy and was refered to OBGYN Specialists.
All of the Doctors there are wonderful. I have seen them all and liked all of the doctors.
