there is also the Flower Mound Pumpkin Village, which is different than the FMP Patch. The Village has Hay Rides, giant tee pee, pony rides, hay maze...and more. here is their website http://www.flowermoundpumpkinvillage.com/
good luck!

I'm not sure where you live, but there's a great pumpkin patch at Hall Johnson and Pool Road on Grapevine. Take Highway 21, exit Hall Johnson and go about a mile to Pool Rd. You can't miss it on the right.

The patch is a nice size, with a corn field maze, a few kids activities like a slide, and free hay rides if you buy a pumpkin. It's free to go in and look around, of course!

There's a trick to getting into the dallas arboretum for almost free. If you are a member of any Dallas recreation center, you can ask for four free tickets to the arboretum each time you go. This includes parking! When I got my rec center membership it was only $15 and that was about a year ago . . . well worth it!
Enjoy,
E.

We love the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, about 10 minutes North of McKinney. They have also opened a new one in Richardson, but I have never tried that one.
Have fun!

Tomorrow we are going to the Arboretum for the third time. We have takend some great pictures with their pumpkins. There are also a lot of pumpkins and scarecrows in front of a church in lake highlands on Audelia and McCree.

There are two in Flower Mound and they are right next door to each other. All you pay for is the pumpkins'. We go to Double Oak Ranch. Here is there website http://www.flowermoundpumpkinpatch.com/directions.html

My girls had fun last year and we will be going again this year.

I highly recommend the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. We have taken our boys there for many years and they love it. It's free to go there and enjoy all of the fun things to do. The pumpkins are reasonably priced too.

I defnitely recommend Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. Keep in mind you don't have to buy anything there, you can just enjoy it for free if you'd like. We buy our hay bales and corn stalks there, but buy our pumpkins at the grocery store because they are more than 50% cheaper.

We made the drive from west Plano to Celina last year for this and it was worth it. The kids had a lot of fun and it was nice to see some "real" country.
