Burd's Auto Bays in Streamwood is very good. It is located at the intersection of Barrington and Old Church (behind Thornton's gas station). The owner's name is Bill Burd. He came highly recommended to me by several people that have been going to him for years. We were pleased with his service. He got the job done for a fair price.

Dave Rose Automotive (Value Automotive - he is undergoing a name change, it used to be Value Automotive, he just doesn't have the new sign up yet) has a shop on Barrington Road just North of Schaumburg Road. They were closed for a short period of time. Call and make sure they reopened.
