We are contemplating the installation of a swimming pool. Does anyone have any recommendations on who to use? Or who to stay away from?
My husband works for Riverbend pools in Plano. They are a top pool builder in the area. They have a better construction than some of the smaller companies, ie. more rebar (closer together), more cleanouts, etc. Call their office and ask for Buddy Herrot. My husband is the foreman of the excavation department. You get what you pay for.
I would strongly recommend an investigation into the company you are going to use (if they are not one of the larger companies). I have have 2 friends who were burned on pools (to the tune of about $15000) and had to find additional contractors to finish the work. I want to say Chris Esposito was one of the contractors name. In fact, he was recently on the news as about 10 people formed a group and were destined to get the word out on him. A bad contractor can be a nightmare. We used a larger company when we installed our pool and everything ran smoothly.
Hello- whoever you pick, make sure it's not the guys from CREATIVE BACKYARDS!!!!! They did ours and they messed up many, many things and took unusually loooong!! And when you call them about a problem, they will not get back to you until the 10th time you call, and they will make excuses after excuses.....thought you'd like to know...

Foley and Riverbend Sandler are both good companys. We used Foley, but our neighbors used Riverbend. We are both pleased with the results.
