Seeking a Great Spa for Massages, Facials, Etc.

Being that I have moved here fairly recently I haven't really had the time to look for a good spa. I have a place where I can run in and get a pedicure, but that's about the extent of it.
My mom is coming up next month and going to the spa is something we usually do when she's here.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Something in the Orlando area like around Waterford Lakes or something. I don't really want to drive forever to get to one and I am over by the airport.
Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

There are a couple in the waterford area. Magic Nails and spa in front of Sports Authority in Waterford. Usually no appt. needed. Except facial you need one.

Ok so some of the hotels do have amazing spas--the Grand Floridan is probably the creme de la creme. I think it's constantly ranked the best one in the area and it really is absolutely amazing.

But Disney is far for me, so when I really just want a quality spa treatment but don't want to make the hike, I also really like Euro Day Spa for spa services like massages and facials(they also have a salon for ped and hair, but really I don't think those services are that great).
It's in a strange area in Winter Park close to the highway, but once you are inside you can tell you are in a quality facility. They have awesome therapists and I've never been disappointed. The deep tissue massage is my favorite.

I like the spa at the Gaylord Palms. I think its called canyon ranch I have been to many spas worldwide and find it the best hotel spa in the area... although I have not been to the Grand Floridian.

The thing I like most about it is the extras. They have a large waiting area (with tea and fruit) where you can get away by yourself and relax (most spas around here have such small areas that you have to sit so close to other people. Not relaxing for me.)

They have a large steamroom and sauna. With iced cucumbers for your eyes. The place has always been really clean and new looking. The only thing is the whirlpool is out by the pool but you can use the pool and even have lunch out there if you wanted to. When you get a treatment you can make a day out of it with the facility for no extra cost. The hotel itself is intersting too. you can walk around with shops and restaurant in a big atrium. I think you would enjoy it!

Hi T.,
I just found Christopher Caroline Spa and they seem really nice. Maybe it's the right spot for you and your mom...it's over near the Millenia Mall. It's close to Pier One Imports and across from BJ's. Hope you enjoy it. Please tell the owner Steve Helen sent you!

I second the Euro Day Spa.http://www.eurodayspa.net . I've been there about 4 or 5 times and everytime I feel so relaxed and wonderful when I leave...it's amazing and they are not unreasonable as far as price goes...maybe a little further than what your looking for but worth it...plus you can then go to lunch nearby in winter park...maybe to Hot Olive's Great restaurant http://hotolivesrestaurant.com
Have a great time with your mom.
