Hello,

thanks for all the feedback the other day with my daughter biting while nursing. she has stopped on her own. we have figured out she does this about a week or so before a tooth breaks thru. I am looking for a naturopathic doctor in the north end, preferably near Edmonds. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I am also looking for a playgroup to join. I never did Peps or anything else and think it is about time I do something for adult conversations during the day. Any suggestions?
thanks.

What can I do next?

I really liked Dr. Cheryl Woods with the Trinity Health Center in Lynnwood (near Alderwood Mall). She really helped me start to get well while I was pregnant from Chronic Fatigue. She also works wtih children.

Hi W.-

Try meetup.com to find playgroups. My 15-month old daughter and I have recently started to attend the Kenmore Playgroup (http://playgroup.meetup.com/1282)even though we live in lake city and it has been great. Most of the kids are 10-20 months old. And the ladies are great for conversation.

I see Dr. David Ramaley in Northgate, he's great! I'm not sure at which age they start but I've developed wonderful friendships for me and my daughters by joining FLED at Edmonds Community College. (Family Life Education Department I think it stands for). We go to the co-op preschool there and they have many programs for crawlers on up!

For playgroup: Steven's hospital has a free group on Fridays... I met my daughter's playgroup there two years ago. Libraries generally have a storytime hour. Evergreen Hospital also has a mom's group up to 1 year old (and it's very informative). You can also find groups on meetup.com, yahoo groups and sometimes craigslist. Good luck!

W. - I love our doctor Brandy Ross. She's an ND and midwife and has recently moved her office from 196th in Lynnwood up to the intersection of 99 and 164th, but it's not too far. She's on the verge of expanding into a bigger space. Dr. Brandy is very helpful in explaining vaccinations to us (helps us decide on each shot by informing us with the facts, not filling us with biased commentary, so that we can make our own decision) she is patient with explaining how the homeopathic meds she suggests will work, and yet can get me in and out quickly if she senses that I'm in a hurry. She accepts both my Regence and my daughter's Lifewise insurances, although not Medical Coupon.

I've recently discovered a lot of playgroups in the area through Meetup.com. You might want to check that out.
