I am a concerned mom who has been to many pediatricians and have not found a good kid friendly one yet that accepts medicaid for my two young boys. I am also looking for a dentist for them too. Any suggestions please?

What can I do next?

Hi,
Not sure where you live, but we went through sev. dentists before I found the perfect one for my kids. Plano Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Sandra McDougal is awesome. She is so friendly, calm, and soft spoken and explains everything as she does it. Their phone # is ###-###-####. My 5 yr. old was terrified to go to the dentist after a horrible past experience, but she loves Dr. McDougal. Hope this helps!

Debra Duffy, in Flower Mound.

I just took my 2.5 year old last week and never in my life have I seen a place that was more kid friendly. And she was great and patient! It seems so rare for something to be as great as everyone says but Mamasource recommended her to me and now I recommend her to you!

There is a place on Hebron called Kidz n teens dental. They are pretty kid friendly. It's all about kids there, but the only drawback was how busy and crowded it is there. We had a very long wait and with a one year old that can be grueling. Also, it was not very private and it sorta seemed like they were running us through like cattle. However, all the people working there including the dentist were very nice and friendly. Not sure I would go there for anything major. Only a simple dental exam would be fine.

Hi P. I totally agree with you!! Your children, and all children deserve the best care no matter what. I work as a dental hygienist for a wonderful Pediatric Dentist Dr. Erik Harrington. He accepts Medicaid, the adult dentist that works in the office with him does not but...the kids work will. Just call the office ###-###-#### www.hpdentist.com
Good Luck
