I have lots of cute, very very gently worn clothes/outerwear ranging from 6 months to 4 years for girls (some are brand names from France and Australia)and I would like to sell them at a decent/good price. I also have some baby furniture like a stroller, crib and car seat and some toys. Does anyone know of a reputable consignment store in the area? Thanks so much for your help.

What can I do next?

Once Upon a Child in Plano is good for clothes. But if you have high priced items (crib, stroller, car seat) you should sell them on Craigs List. I recently sold my stroller and changing table for the same amount they would sell them for at a consignment shop. I would have gotten half of that if I had sold them to the consignment store instead.

Good luck!

Divine Consign is a consignment sale tht happens in the spring and fall each year. You will need to do all the work but you get to set your own prices. Check them out at www.divineconsign.net

I just brought a bunch of nice clothes to kid to kid and it is a joke how little they give you.

I suggest going the Craig's List or Ebay route.

Hi K.,

If you live near Wylie, you should try a place called The Mulberry Bush. They are on Park Blvd. I think they are in the phone book. They have nice stuff and I think they give you more than what you would get at Kid to Kid.

If you want to get a decent price, I definitely suggest the Ebay route. It costs very little and you will get more money for your stuff. Ask for help if you're not sure how to do it.
My oldest daughter has 4 little girls and buys all kinds of beautiful used clothes for her children on Ebay.
Good luck!

Tried and True consignment sale is coming up next week. They are taking toys and Holiday clothing this time around, but Divine Consign will have a sale in the spring for Warm weather clothing, and all of the rest of your stuff. Tried and True is a smaller sale also at Plano Center, but they are still accepting consigners.

Hi K.! I saw your posting and thought that I would recommend you listing your stuff on labump.com. It is another mom-owned business that I love to use.

Here's the scoop: it's like Craig's list, but just for moms and kiddos! I love it!
