My son is 9 months old and has terrible eczema.None of the cream from the pediatrician/over the counter is working. I feel so bad for the itchy little guy. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good dermatologist. I really appreciate this, thanks in advance.

Dear L.,

I have a product I sell for $12.50 each, and it has done wonders for Ezcema! I had a 7 month year old girl that had it so bad and this cleared it up! Please email me at ____@____.com and we can discuss further.

Dr. Craig Singer at Northwest Dermatology Group on Northwestern Highway is a Pediatric Dermatologist. He was my son's newborn pediatrician and has a great bedside manner, explains things well to parents without condescending or patronizing and is a reasonable guy. I would take my own son to him if he had issues like eczema or chronic itching. ###-###-####. L. W.

Have you considered food allergies? If you're nursing, you may want to cut out dairy from your diet and see if that helps. Next would be wheat. You can also have him tested via blood test.
Alternatively, it's winter. Do you have humidifiers in your house? We have two, in addition to the main one on the furnace. My son, every winter to this day, gets the worst dry skin as soon as the heaters come on, and he has to put on Eucerin cream every night. At least he doesn't get it on his face anymore! However, if creams aren't working, I would definitely look into food allergies.

HI,

My son is going to e 2 years old next week and also has eczema. We took him to Dr. Koprince's office in Royal Oak. A great staff, both Dr. Koprince and the other doctor ( i can't remember her name right now...) are wonderful. STaff is friendly, and we were in and out within a half an hour.

K., mom of a 2 year old and a 9 month old in Royal Oak.
