I was raised Catholic but don't believe everything the Catholic Church communicates. I want to visit a Christian Church where my 5 month old and I will feel welcomed and they have a special place for infants to go to during services. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Sunday morning my son and I got up and I decided it was time to venture out to a Christian Church. We went to the YC Church of Nazarene and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We will be attending the YC MOPS meeting this Tuesday as well. I've also inquired about Moms In Motion in YC and am looking forward to finding out when their next gathering will be and possibly attending it. Thanks you Jennifer and Michele. I really appreciate the info about both.

We attend St. Andrew Presbyterian church - over on Franklin beside Winco. It's a great church with many children's programs as well as various adult activities. We go to the early service - 8:30 AM, and then they have an 11:00 return as well.

Good luck - feel free to msg. back if you have any more questions!!!

Hi T.! My name is M. and I live in Marysville and have a nine month old baby. I just recently started getting out and about in this area also and started attending a group called MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) through the Yuba City Church of the Nazarene. They are very active and have WONDERFUL childcare during the group meetings and also during church services. I have only gone to two church services but they have been great. We moved here in 2005 and think we may have found our church home. They have a website: http://ycnaz.org/index.php
I invite you to check it out and if you want you can email me directly at: ____@____.com and I would love to attend a mothers group with you or maybe a Saturday night or Sunday service if you'd like? We are meeting this Tuesday at 9:30am at the Nazarene for a special Easter MOPs it should be great. Please feel free to write me, good luck, and God Bless!

Hi T.,
My family has been regularly attending the Yuba City Church of the Nazarene for about 2 years now and we love it. I also was raised catholic and feel very comfortable at YCN. They have a wonderful sunday school program that both of my boys love and a terrific nursery. I have also attended MOPS there in the past which is another great venue for meeting other moms through worship. I have also been a member of Moms In Motion for 5 years which is a great group of mostly stay at home moms (some work part time) who get together for play dates and support. You can visit our website at momsinmotionyc.org. I hope this helps.
