I have been searching for a good PCP for years. So many have been uncaring and rather cold. Anyone know of some good Doc's out there? I'm on the NW side of town close to the medical center.

I work in the medical center with an imaging group and this group of pedi doc's send their patients over and we have to call reports to them. So I have talked with this group of doctors alot. Dr. Janet Noll is in with a group and she is absolutely lovely. I don't know the name of all of the doctors in the group, but they are all great. I like her the best. I hope this helps you out. The number is ###-###-#### and it is in the medical center as well. Northwest Pediatric Associates I do not know if you were talking about for yourself or for your children.

I love Dr. Alexander Roka in Stone Oak, the best. If he does not know he does not pretend to. He treated my mother who had M.S. and even when her insurance changed he took her calls and made sure she had meds. I LOVE HIM!!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. William Beck at Macgregor Medical center (off Fredericksburg, across from USAA). My family loves him!! He has 30 years experience, and has a heart of GOLD! We have gone to him since our daughter was born, and she will be 4 in July. Our son was born in Sept 05, and he goes to him now. He always gives wonderful advice! Whenever my daughter gets an "owie", she wants me to call him. That should tell you something! My daughter loves going to the doctor!

Hi C.,
I am not a big fan of doctor's myself and in fact do my best to never go. However, I do have Dr. Joseph Wysoki listed as my PCP. He is at McGreagor Medical Center on the corner of USAA Blvd and Fredricksburg. He is a D.O. but also a GP. When I was having migraines/cluster headaches, we worked though them with adjustments and he gave me homeopathic medicine as opposed to the "here are some painkillers route". My husband has also used him when he got attacked by poison ivy/oak. Allen went in there thinking he could just get his cortizone shot and leave and instead Dr. Wysoki explained to him how the poison oak/ivy spreads and the best treatment and so forth.

Anyway, the only disadvantage to the place is the lobby/reception area. The receptionist are impersonal and you always have to pay before you get in to see the doctor. If you can put up with that...

Good luck. Looking for a doctor is no fun.
