We just moved to the area from California a few months ago. Looking for a place to buy second hand clothes for my kids. They outgrow them so fast I almost never buy new. Where does everyone go around here?
Depending on where you are in Prairie Village, there is Pete and Repeat at about 78th and State Line. My kids are way past that but when there were little there was one in Olathe, (Not Children's Orchard, it came along later) that was outstanding. I also would hit garage sales. Sometimes it's a lot of junk, but I also hit on some great deals. *Gymboree at a fraction of the cost.

I have had good luck at Children's Orchard. They have nice things. I also like to shop at the local thrift stores, they have good things if you are willing to look thru everything. Welcome to the midwest!

Well, you did not state the age of your kids. There is Childrens Orchard. If they are preteen/teen age then there is Platos Closet.
There are also the old standbys (not as nice stuff though) as Good Will.

I like childrens orchard also. It's in olathe off 119th and I-35. There are also groups that have big sales through out town. They usually advertise on craigslist.com under the garage sale section. One group is called "just between friends" but I can't think of the others. Their website is jbf.com. (I believe)
