Hi mommys!

We live off of Custer between Legacy and Hedgcoxe. Can anyone recommend a church? We're hoping to find one with active & young adults (I'm 36, shhhhh ...), great infant care (for my son who is 9 months) and a great kids program (for my other son who is 8 years old).

Thank you!

R.

So What Happened?

7/10 Update:

Well, we've visited the Four Corners Church for the past two Sundays. The people were very helpful and always had smiles on their faces. The children's area (from infants to 1st grade) were very impressive and the teachers were very comforting. My eight year old didn't care for his class. I don't feel that he enjoyed "large" group session. I think he does better with smaller groups. As for the services, we felt that the sermons were very insightful, however, we just didn't feel that "bond".

However, overall, I did like the church and maybe if we continued to go on a regular basis, we'd develop that bond. In discussions with my family, we're going to try Fellowship. Wish us luck! :0)

Thank you to all for your replied! We so appreciate it!

I too, am a member at Fellowship Bible Church North, located at 850 Lexington Drive, Plano TX 75075

I have attended the church for about two years, and our family loves it. The congregation is very welcoming, and there are many different ministries for the entire family. Here is a link to the website for you to check out to see if it's a fit for you.

AWESOME CHURCH for you to come to. We love it and it's non denominational. Four Corners Church at Custer and 121 in Plano. There are two services 9am and 10:45am. Contemporary worship style. Casual dress. VERY FRIENDLY! Approx. 600 people attend. Small family environment. I cannot say enough positive about the kids ministry. It's superior to any childcare program I've seen at local churches. Both for infants and older kids. That is one of the things that kept us coming back here. The infants dept. is called Wee Worshipers and your 9 month old will not just be "babysat" while you are in the service. They actually have structured activites like story time, puppets, arts and crafts, snacks, singing, bible time. It's unbelievable. I have a 23 month old and he loves it. In fact he tries to open the door to get in his room before I can even get him checked in. There are a lot of young families our age (I'm 34 & hubby is 35). Vacation bible school is starting next week if your 8 year old is interested. It will run from 9am-12pm M-F. I am helping with the crafts for VBS and it's going to be a great time. Fiesta is the theme. The pastor Randy Bailey is very passionate about his sermons. I always take away nuggets to meditate on during the week. No other church we've been to was as friendly as this congregation. They are truly genuine not just putting on "church face". Women's ministry is great. People really care about you there. We've been so blessed by this church family. If you need more specifics please email me and I'll be happy to answer any questions. You won't be disappointed with what this church has to offer your family. It is truly a family oriented church with exceptional people. My email is ____@____.com. Blessings, H.
