Searching for a Great Sit-Stand Stroller

As I am pregnant with baby number 2, I have been researching double strollers. I am leaning towards a Sit-Stand Stroller. My son will be 2 1/2 when the new baby is born but is as tall as most three year olds and he just turned 2. Can anyone recommend a good brand/model sit stand stroller that is durable, has a roomy storage basket and can hold a good sized toddler on the back. I have read some really positive reviews on the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller and a few good/a few negative reviews on the Baby Trend sit-stand if anyone has those particular ones or a better brand I would really appreciate the input.

Thanks!
A.

I have had the Joovy Caboose for 2 months now and I LOVE it! I have an almost 4 year old that weighs 44 pounds and a 2 year old who weighs 29 pounds and it handles their weight just fine. It really is a smooth ride and it is lighter than most double strollers. I am really glad I bought this.

Hi Angie,
I have the Joovy Caboose Stand On Tandem Stroller (red/black one) and I love it. My kids (a 3 year old and a 1 year old) love it because my son could stand or sit in it and my daughter is happy in it as long as she's moving. I bought it a month or two after I had my daughter and the attachment that goes along with it to put the car seat on it works great. The attachments work really good and it fits in my SUV or in a compact car. The stroller that I have is not lightweight (it's about a year old) but you don't have to struggle to lift it in and out of the trunk space. Read the manual so you know how everything attaches and works. When I started using it after my daughter was born I got alot of people asking me what type of stroller it was, did I like it and where could they get it. It's good that you are doing your research now and I would test out the strollers at the store before you buy one. There are many different double strollers for different people and the Joovy stroller is the one that works for me. Find and try one that works for you. Hope this helps you.
J.

I have to say I love my Joovy! A carseat fits very well with the car seat attachment up front. A very heavy toddler fits well with room to spare on the back. They can sit or stand in the back. It has straps for safety on the back also. It's very durable while still being light weight. I have an Expedition, which doesn't have much cargo room & it still fits in the back. The basket underneath is not very big, but big enough to hold my very large purse or a diaper bag. It doesn't have a parents cup holder or tray, but you can purchase one seperately online. All in all, it's a very good stroller - & I've been through alot of them!

I have the fischer-price active gear with a jump seat in back, but it can also be a place to stand. My 3 and 5 year olds can each fit there comfortably and my 1 year old sits in front (I have had it since she was a newborn and her carseat fit in it perfectly.). It is easy to fold and move around. I really like it.
