Sea World - Texas

We are thinking about taking a little trip to San Antonio next week for 4 days and was wanting to take the kids to Sea World. Do you know of anywhere to get discounts right now? I have searched online but I haven't found any good deals. We have Six Flags season passes so we are going to do that and we already have a place to stay but I know the kids would love to go to Sea World.

What can I do next?

If you go on the Sea World website look for Sea World Cares. You can get each child ticket for $5 with the full price purchase of an adult ticket. That's a great deal all in itself. Now here's where it gets better. You take your adult tickets and go straight to customer service as soon as you get there. You can trade in your 1 day pass for a season pass. Then if you go again the next day, you get in free and you buy kids tickets at regular price and turn those into season passes. :) Call customer service and they can explain it better than I can. I searched the world over and that was the best deal I could find. We also went on price line and bid for a 3 star hotel in the Sea World area. We got a really great hotel, Marriott Sea World I think, for a great price and they had a free shuttle to Sea World. That saves you the $10 a day parking. You can take some food into the park. A small backpack full of bottled water, goldfish, string cheese, etc will save you from buying $6 popcorn and $4 bottled water.

When I was at Long John Silver's a month ago or so they had discount tickets. I don't know if they still have any, and I don't remember how discounted they were. I know that's not much help, but you might check there. Have a great time!

When we went last time, there are lots of grocery stores that sale discounted tickets, I think fiesta may be one of them.

A few years ago visitsanantonio.com was the only place I found discounts. They may be hard to find because of their recent promotion. A day pass is the same cost as a season pass.
