Hi all,
I recently posted this same question about some other suburbs, as my husband and I are looking to move out of St. Paul and into a surrouding community. Does anyone have first-hand experience w/ the Roseville school district? I'd love to hear pros/cons/and any other comments. I've looked at the state school ranking website, but all of that data is based on standardized testing, and I'd love to hear some adivce from parents whose children attend the Roseville schools. Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

I live in Roseville and we have really enjoyed the ECFE program here including the preschool. I am impressed with Parkview School(however, it starts too early in the morning for us) but I haven't checked out the other elementary schools. My son will be attending Harambee Elementary which is part of the East Metro Integration District (Roseville is one of 10 participating districts). This school is right on the eastern edge of Roseville.

I live in Roseveille but my kids go to Harambee which is part of East Metro Integration District. It is near the Roseville/Maplewwod border. I like Harambee for it's year round schedule (less time to forget things over the summer). I have heard wonderful things about all the Roseville schools though. Parkview is k-8 (I'll probably have my kids go there for middle school) and is district wide. The other elementary schools are Brimhall, Emmet D WIlliams, Falcon Heights, Central Park and Edgerton. I know people who have had kids at each school and hear that they are wonderful.
Roseville ECFE is a great program as well. I think they are one of the original ECFE programs in the cities.

I have no experience but my sister lives in Roseville next to the big mall & she loves the area. Her kids go to Brim Hall(I think that's the name) and she loves the school alot. She has lived there for over 10 years. Hope this helps

My kids are not old enough for elementary school yet, but I live a neighborhood that also attends Brim Hall and I hear nothing but good things about it.

I am also pretty active in the Roseville ECFE and I LOVE the program. I think it is exceptional. The classes we attend are at the Parkview School which is a K-8 school. It seems like a great facility as well. Everyone I have met through the district is great.
