Scabies Anyone?

I just found out that my niece has scabies and was wondering if anyone has had any experience in dealing with how to get rid of them naturally? I know they have a cream that you can get from the pharmacy but it seems pretty toxic.

I have a friend whose son had to use it and it caused him to end up in the emergency room. She's a pediatrician and said that she would never subject a toddler/infant to that cream unless it was the last resort.

What can I do next?

Hi Jamie,
Thank you so much for this question. And yes there are dangers of using the medications on the market - and some of the dangers are documented in scientific literature- so if at all possible I would avoid using them. It has been proven that using these cremes can cause multiple hazards to children including nervous system disturbances.
I do have a solution but you will need to PM me for the information. I do not want to appear to be selling products etc..... and be dropped from this site- but the solution I have has been medically tested and proven- so please let me help you with this. I look forward to sharing this information with you.
Good luck and Blessings

NEEM Oil...you can find it like at a Sun Harvest or Whole Foods. It stinks to high heaven...like rotting meat. Ugh! But it works.
If the smell is too much, use NEEM lotion, it's not as bad. It takes a little longer, but it still works.
Until you get those suckers out - just wash everything ALL THE TIME and dry on high heat. Like I said, it may take longer than the pharmacy stuff, but it's all natural.
Good luck!

Hi Jamie,

I shop at a store that sells all-natural made products, including medicines, lotions, bathing products, household cleaning products and much more and from my experience they all work great. I found out about this store when I was in search for a product that would help my son's eczema (he is four). The lotion I use on my son has worked and my son no longer suffers from eczema any longer. The lotion we use is definitely nontoxic. I checked to see if they made anything to help cure Scabies and they do. Let me know if you are interested and I would be more than happy to give you more information to help your niece get better.

Hi Jamie,

My teenage daughter brought scabies home and we all ended up with them, my husband, my two boys and me. NEEM with a combination of tea trea oil and peppermint soap and shampoo worked for us. We used Jason's tea tree body wash and Dr.Bronner's peppermint pure castile liquid soap. The neem I put in the bath water and let my boys soak in it. I did the neem bath twice a few days apart. FYI...neem smells really bad! I used the tea tree and peppermint for about two weeks whenever we showered. I also used a tea tree oil lotion after showers and baths. In addition to that I washed our sheets and blankets EVERY DAY for about a week then every other day for another week. I also bagged all the stuffed animals for a couple of weeks.
I may have went overboard with all of this but it worked and we did not use the toxic cream! I hope this helps.

My stepson had scabies. The cream works great. Wash clothes and bedclothes in hot soapy water. Dry in high heat. It takes two treatments. Scabies are mites and they are easily transfered to the rest of the family. Sometimes one has to use harsh treatments or the whole family will be infested.
