I have homeschooled my son up until 1st grade and now he has his SAT this week - should he revise?, this is all new to me.

What can I do next?

I wish my kids could practice for the stanford test. If there is a practice book out there i'd love to know where to get it. My kids are blindly given the test in school with no warning and score "just below" gifted and talented...I wonder if they were allowed to study for it if they'd do better. Please let me know if there is a source for stanford test study/prictice books.

There are a lot of good SAT resources. There are a lot online as well as ones you can purchase in Borders. I would definately recomend he work at least on some of the online resources (just google practice SAT) so he can get a feel for what the questions and test will be like. He probably does not want to go into the testing completely blind as to what the test will be like.

I have to give standardized testing too and ordered the practice book for my two. They will use a week for practices then a week of testing.
AFter you test you usually have maybe 14 days to get it back to them, womever sent it to you, they grade it and send you the scores. It takes a month or two for that.

M.,

I'm confused by your question. Did you mean that you have home schooled your son since first grade? Or is the SAT you reference different from the one that high schoolers take to provide scores to get into a college/university?
