We recently cut down some cedar trees. my son was out playing around the area the other day and now has a little bit of sap on his clothes. is there a good way to get it off of the clothes without ruining them? It is his tball uniform so i do have to try. There really isn't alot of sap i just dont want to make it worse.
Mineral spirits will take it out...
I'm not sure what it will do to the uniform, though... you might put a dab in a place where it won't show to see if the color changes or anything.

Try "Goo Gone". You can find it in the hardware section with paint removers.
Baby wipes might work ... specifically Johnson's baby wipes in the pink container. We usually find them at Babies R Us or Toys R Us. My hubby uses them for his hands when he's working on the Christmas tree and says they work way better than the other brands.
Mayonnaise works on hair so I bet it works on clothes - but you will then need to get out the oil from the mayonnaise so make sure to pretreat and wash right away.
