SAHM ? Whats That

Yep... stay-at-home mom... but I think most of us missed the class on actually staying at home! LOL

While you're on that subject, I heard of a woman who thought LOL meant Lots of Love. She texted a friend - Sorry your mother died, LOL. She was horrified to find it meant Laugh out Loud. So be careful with your abbreviations. D.

SAHM means "Stay At Home Mom"... You might alos see DD : Darling Daughter", DS " darling SOn", DH " darling husband", WFHM " Work From Home Mom"

And boy, is STAY at home mom a misnomer :-)

Its just a short way to say stay at home mom. We are all out of loop at some time!

Too funny, I asked the same question when I joined this website. I'm like what, is everyone named Sahm on this?

When I first started using this site, I didn't get what any of the abbreviations meant either so I had to look them all up one at a time. Later on, I found that an acronym dictionary on BabyCenter which was really helpful. =)
