Help! Ive recently lost all my baby weight after 2 years!! YAY! The problem is, my boobs are a good size but obviously not as firm as they once were! I started at a 34B then after baby was at a 38D! Now during the weight loss process Ive gone from a 38D to a 36C to a 34C. So theyre bigger than they originally were but they dont look like it because they are so.... loose! What can I do to help firm them back up? Any exercises or herbal supplements, topical stuff that isnt temporary? Surgery isnt an option. Keep in mind I dont want them bigger, just not so saggy! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

What can I do next?

Implants are the only way to go back to perky. I used to work out like a fiend. I have a great body now but the boobs are less than perky. If anything adding weight will fill them out but it usually goes in areas you don't want it. If you are after the appearance of perky Victoria Secret makes great bras. They are actually the only place I can find 32DD in a style that doesn't look like something my mom would wear.

Ahhhh....Join the club. Goodbye Victoria's Secret, hello supportive slingshots.
I'm pretty sure you could jump on line and buy a product or two that will swear to firm up your breasts, but they will fall short of their promises.
A really good bra or two will help how you look in your clothes, really giving you the support you need.Maybe even get fitted at a store 'bra event', which ist as horrid as it sounds!
A good bra makes all the difference.

Sorry....once our girls go south....it's a done deal. The only solution is VERY expensive breast surgery...which I wouldnt recommend...it has to be redone every 10 - 15 years.
Just find a good bra that makes you look the way you want to look under your clothes...and count it as one of the badges of Motherhood!!!
Dont waste your time and money on any of the "miracle drugs" they show on tv or else where....the only "miracle" is that they make your money disappear....POOF!!!

Hi S.,
I am sad to have read someone say goodbye to Victoria Secret, when it is VS that has actually help my saggy's gain their sexuality back. Here is my story 36D pre-baby, to 38E(when I could actually fit the nursing bra), then 38D, to 36D, to a saggy 36C. I have been quite sad with what appears to be nothingness in front of me, in some bras I could almost wear a B, which brings me back to my teen years (aahhh). Weight loss is a joyous thing, boob-loss not so much, but I digress. My point is: I went into VS for my 38th Birthday re-fitting because my husband bought me two very pretty bras, that just did not feel right and I came out with two very sexy "Bio-fits". They are soooo Awesome. I tried the "New Miracle Bra" as well, but if I had to bend over, my boobs would just go on over as well. The "Bio-fit" not only lifts my boobs, but also holds them in place and gives them that perky sensation inside the bra and externally by sight via the clothes you wear. They are a little pricey, what great bra's are, but sooo worth our self-esteem. VS has a club, and coupons galore. Check them out as you compare to the other great suggestions. Remember support does not have to look like 'gramma'.
Good luck looking and feeling sexy again.

Hi! I don't have any suggestions for a fix, although a bra you feel comfortable in is always a help. I wanted to share that I found this great website all about what normal breasts look like and what their purpose is. It
really helped me feel SO much better about my large breasts which have sagged a lot due to being overweight first and then losing a lot of weight. I was truly amazed to see pictures of what normal breasts on normal women look like! I realized how much I've been influenced by media into thinking my breasts were abnormal or the only ones that didn't look perfect. It was really a relief to find out my breasts look PERFECTly normal and there is a HUGE range of normal. It really makes me sad how me are constantly bombarded with advertising for products to make us "normal," "acceptable," "better," etc, like the model in them, that make us feel badly about how we look when we are in fact perfect and normal and beautiful the way we are. This website really did help me. And there is a whole page on sagging, where they say there isn't a lot you can do about it (except eat right for healthy skin to give it more elasticity), but there isn't a lot you need to do about it. Anyway, that's my two cents!

Sorry to say, I think surgery is the only option at this point; however, a well-fitted bras can help you look your best if surgery isn't a option.

Did you know that 80%+ of women wear the wrong size bra? 80%! Be sure you are properly fitted for the correct bra size.

Genetics and diet can play a significant role, so I wouldn't give up entirely. Try the book, Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type. Eating just what your body ordered can really improve tissue tone and skin tone. Exercise helps with this if it increases circulation, like aerobics or a brisk walk, but understand that women have basically the same chest muscles as men. The breasts have no muscle to exercise. They are basically made up of glands and fatty tissue. Weight lifting will improve the muscle tone surrounding the breasts, but may also have the effect of bulking up your arms if you're exercise is not very specific to the target area. I would go gradual with the lifts.

The lovely part about finding the diet and exercise your body needs is that it will definiately help you, mind, body, and spirit. You may become so happy and healthy you won't care if there is a little less bounce to the boob. Remember, any man who expects a mother to maintain the bounce doesn't really appreciate the beauty of a mother. There really are mature and realistic men out there that are attracted to the experienced look, so don't sell all men short just because there are some pubescent attitudes in some full grown male bodies. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my husband actually appreciated how nursing had enlarged the nipple and areola.

Don't forget the importance of a good bra. I've seen the one Oprah recommends and it is very good. I used to have bras custom made at Ann's Bra Shop in Chesterfield, MO.

I have to admit mine were too big to tollerate and I had to opt for a surgical reduction in my 40s. I wore a KK. They took 12 pounds off my chest and I am still a C cup. The real advantage of this surgergy is that I don't need a bra as long as I wear two shirts. I wouldn't opt for surgery if it isn't really necessary, but it is such a blessing if it is needed. When I woke after my surgery, I was so grateful for the relief I started to cry. My husband thought something was wrong. I told him I was crying for all the women who had to carry those things to their grave! Even with all the swelling and post-surgical discomfort, all I remember feeling was relief!

A note to all moms who are raising girls. My mother and her Gyn. made a terrrible mistake. They gave me birth control pills for menstrual cramps when I was barely 12 years old. The amount of estrogen in a pubescent girl's body determines the size her breasts will become. I didn't even know what they were making me take until I was getting married and my mother told me what those pills were. The pills caused nausea, much like morning sickness. But it wasn't until I was studying anatomy and physiology that I learned how they were the reason for my exceptionally large breasts. It is likely that they were also the reason I had such trouble getting pregnant and experienced ovarian cancer later. That Dr. and my mother were trying to help, but the doc should have known better. So moms, don't expect that the doc always knows better! Be very careful about the pills and shots they want to give your girls! He made the BC pills sound very reasonable to my mother, who really didn't know any better.

S., I have always had an ample bustline, and I swear they got bigger with all 3 babies, all I can say is when you lose weight the first place you lose it is in your chest, and there are exercises that will help tone that area. The best advice I can give you though is wearing good a good bra, you need it to support you, its not always the most comfortable but I have a couple nights a week I even wear a sports bra to bed.
Good luck...in the end, even if your "rack" is not what it once was, its a small price to pay for the joy that a child brings = )

Oh, if only those miracle creams really did even half of what they claim! Decline bench presses will help, along with flat bench dumbbell flys. If you don't have access to a gym for the decline presses, flat bench presses would be a second-best choice. You can do those lying on your coffee table. Start with food cans and work your way up to milk jugs. Good luck to you.

I cracked up when I read your headline. My girls have never been real big to start with, thank goodness I dont have big saggy boobs! There arent too bad but they arent as perky as they used to be and Im only 25! I had my first baby when I was 21. I really dont think there is anything you can do about it unless you get some work done. I have considered it because I always wanted bigger ones but now that I have two little ones I think its just too risky to put myself through that because of vanity. My husband thinks Im hot so I dont care. Dont worry, most men like all boobs ;). Good luck getting used to your Mama body! It took me quite awhile, Im over it!

If you find something...let me know! I've been a part of the saggy boob club since I was a yo-yo dieting teenager! LOL Since my daughter was born, my husband and I joke that I need to watch out so I don't kick them. I was getting down about it (but am not a fan of elective surgery...surgery is surgery, and having been a 1st assistant in the OR, NOTHING can be considered totally safe or routine), but I also ran into that website of nomal women with normal boobs...and it was liberating. This is coming from someone who worked in the medical field and did thousands of breast exams on women, so I already knew that boobs came in all shapes and sizes...but sometimes it's still hard to look in the mirror and see my "udders". The website really helped to put things in perspective. A good bra and some definition to the surrounding muscles by working out is your best bet. You can get some "tautness" back in the skin with firming lotions, but it basically just evens out the skin. In the end...gravity wins! It's the breasts that "stand at attention" for many many years that are the "oddities" (ok, oddities I would prefer!) out there! I also agree...your "girls" are a badge of motherhood...wear them proudly!

Hi Sara,
How are you? Have you heard of the body magic? It's a weightloss garment that will drop you 2-3 sizes in 10 minutes and help you loss weight. It also lifts your breasts and buttocks. It's so awesome. I had the same problem and my breast have permently lifted more from wearing it. Don't believe me? See it for yourself on my website. www.dropupto3sizesin10mins.com
It's been featured on NBC, ABC, fox2, and numerous other talkshows and news broadcasts. Check out this link www.youtube.com/ardysslasvegas

Girl.....get a good bra!!! I started out rather large and after 2 pregnancies and nursing, the girls are just "tired"! Also, like you, am a bit larger than when I started out "way back when"!

Because I am quite large, I have a difficult time finding bras in regular retail stores. I found some GREAT options, although kind of pricey (but cheaper than surgery!!) on BreakoutBras.com You can get on-line help for sizing; they are very knowledgable and patient while helping you get the correct size. They have a great selection of bras for large, regular and small-breasted gals.

Good luck finding what works for you!!
